Hi
“This is ˹all˺ a reminder. And the righteous will certainly have an honourable destination: the Gardens of Eternity, whose gates will be open for them.” 38:49-50.
“They will enter the Gardens of Eternity, where they will be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their clothing will be silk. And they will say, ‘Praise be to Allah, Who has kept away from us all ˹causes of˺ sorrow. Our Lord is indeed All-Forgiving, Most Appreciative.’” 35:33-34.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
Charity Does Not Decrease Wealth.
( Sahih Muslim )
Our Lord! Grant us the good of this world and the good of the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire. 2:201.
Ameen.

A household built upon honesty, mercy, modesty, and mutual respect is a place of Allah's blessings.
Evidence: ﷻﷲ says: "Indeed, ALLAH commands justice, excellence, and giving to relatives..." (Qur'an 16:90)
These characteristics encourage Allah's mercy and blessings in the home and are supported by authentic Islamic teachings. While the authentic narrations explicitly mention some conditions related to the angels entering a home, other qualities are derived from the general virtues of worship, righteousness, and remembrance of ﷻﷲ .
(A reminder to myself first & foremost In-Sha ALLAH)

Hello
@Deejaah
So, I decided to take a short trip to Instagram and came across a video of a woman PUBLICLY FLOGGED in Libya after being convicted of ZINA.
Subhanalaahhhh
I HAVE QUESTIONS.
Even though we weren't taught to ask QUESTIONS.
Is this what the Qur'an teaches?
If zina involves a man and a woman, where was the man?
Why was only the woman publicly punished?
Were there four witnesses as prescribed in Islamic jurisprudence?
Was due process followed?
Since when did filming and sharing someone's punishment on social media become a reflection of mercy and justice?
Before anyone rushes to answer, I'm genuinely asking WALLAH
Is the public flogging of a woman alone while her alleged partner remains absent truly in line with the verses of the Qur'an?
The Qur'an repeatedly calls us to justice. Justice is not selective.
It is not gendered.
O you who believe.. Stand firmly for justice as witnesses to Allah... (Qur'an 4:135)
If the punishment is claimed to be Islamic, then the standards of justice must also be Islamic.
This reminded me such of a film I watched something
THE STONING OF SORAYA or something
Who speaks for the accused?
Was justice actually served?
Sometimes the hardest thing to audit isn't our bad deeds, but the intentions behind our good ones. Has your nafs ever tricked you into doing something good—like giving advice, standing up for truth, or posting about Islam—just to feed your own ego or desire to be seen as righteous?

What’s one sin you’ve been trying to leave for the sake of Allah? No details just one word if you’re comfortable.

If Allah answered every du’a exactly when we wanted, would we still learn patience? What do you think?
