If two men were equally practicing, had good character, wanted marriage, and treated you well...
What would make you choose one over the other?
I'm genuinely curious what matters most these days when looking for a spouse.
No right or wrong answers — I'd love to hear your perspective.
Bonus question: What's one green flag that instantly catches your attention?

Keep having good thoughts about Allah, because Allah will be to you as you think of Him. Keep hoping in Allah, because He knows things you can’t see yet.

At the same time, don’t stay still. If you’re asking Allah for someone good, become someone good too. As Allah says, good people are for good people.

Note to my self

Guys when you get married the only words/ phrases you can utter towards your wife :

“Yes”
“Masha’Allah”
“I love you”
“You’re right”
“My wallet is over there”

….Don’t ask me why 🫩

Just saw a post from a guy discussing finding a good quality woman on her deen and does everything is what a good quality guy will look for.

A different post he was discussing "western views" and how my Muslims are adopting them...

First thing that came to mind is how Muslim countries like ksa, Qatar and what was it- UAE have adopted the idea and given the choice to not wear hijab
Indulge in concerts and couple other things....I don't think it's ideal to talk about only this western culture when haram has infiltrated Muslim communities across the board.

So smarten up and share positive things to uplift each other than share things that that just will continue fights. The problems that you see here in the US are problems elsewhere as well.

Let's not also forget to mention that many people follow culture instead of Islam.

This has been extremely popular within desi communities stretching to Pakistani and other similar communities.
Sheiks have to discuss in-laws and boundaries and explain what is following culture compared to following Islam.

Stories I have read where parents abuse their children or marry off their kids when young just for status.
I saw a video a young women shared that her parents married her off in her teens to this older man just for the status and money. The poor girl was screaming and miserable because she wasn't ready. She didn't want to marry even. Wanted to live her life and go to school.
Taking emotions out. This just isn't Islam.

Be very careful when some of you try to target just this 'western ways'

Besides the topic getting old. Why try to act superior and put on this act like no other actual born Muslim communities don't have issues and some of them are even on a worsening scale.

Educate yourselves and find ways to help change such bad things.

I will not engage is toxic immature responses.
