🌺💐💛Like all women I do love flowers. Out of all the women who like to recieve them, I'd appreciate it more if my man poured into me like the rain.🌺💐💛

🌺💐💛A quick tip for your mental health.🌺💐💛
Flowers shouldn't only be given to celebrate the good days, but rather be given on those days when we don't feel ourselves. Although it's good to give and recieve flowers. A true man, treats you like one. You see, flowers are fragile. They need to be watered, checked upon and constantly nurtured. If he gives them to you, just know that he is the source, the soil in which you grow. For flowers to grow, the soil needs to be well maintained. Remember, reciprocation is always key. Pray that something so beautiful happens him that he forget about what hurt him. I do think that as women, we are not always meant to be on the receiving end. But I like to believe we are all flowers, that need to be poured into. Be the soil, be the sunshine, or the rain. Either way we are all one big garden helping each other grow.

Called my dad and wished him "happy Father's Day!" even though I know how he feels about these stuff, because I like the lecture I get from him 👀 He gets so irritated 🤣

Me: Happy Father's Day, abbu ☺️ (then immediately started laughing because couldnt even pretend to be serious)

Abbu: Ki?! Father's Day abar ki?? Toder karoney protidini toh amar Father's Day! Eishob alga day laage naki amar? Tor bhai ekhon jodi thakto, tokey ki dhomokta dito...mone achhe?

Me: Eijonnoi toh icchha kore tomake bollam! Jemne react koro bolle! 😂 🤦‍♀️

(Dad: "What? What Father's Day? With you kids everyday is Father's Day for me! Do I even need an extra day? If your brother was still alive, he'd have given you a scolding....do you remember those?"

Me: That's why I deliberately told you that! The way you all react when it's mentioned...😂🤦‍♀️)

My parents are very allergic to Mother's and Father's Days lol They will happily accept birthday wishes and gifts, but won't have anything to do with these days and also Family Day (only celebrated in certain Canadian provinces as a statutory holiday). They're like "egula holo ajaira day" 😂 Is anyone else's parents like this, too? I know of brown parents who get upset if their kids don't make big deals out of these (and then proudly share stories how their kids celebrated and treated them), but ours is the opposite! They're like "ja bhag" lol
