Just trying to understand but why do some of you want to talk for longer than 3-4 months? In all these women profiles I see with longer than 3-4 months of talking parents are either missing or later or even "agree together"

Like what's the reasoning? Marriage in 2-3 years can sometimes make sense, sorta maybe? If you're not ready why would or should a guy wait 2-3 years to marry you? If it's school or a life situation then why not just wait until after to start looking.

If it's not a big enough issue then get married and deal with the life issue along the way as a support group and not alone.

Talking for 4-12 months doesn't connect to me because what can you talk about for so long? Sure you ask questions but then it turns from questions to life stuff and slowly the border of halal and haram gets passed, flirting or stirring of the emotions happens which is romanticized but haram.

Someone make it make sense.
