Peace be upon you. I am looking for a husband from outside Iraq, preferably a Shia, someone who understands and cares for me, and with whom I can build a stable home. I don't want anything more than that—someone who knows how to behave and support me. I'm not looking for games or someone to waste my time.

I saw a video of a lady saying that before she’d travel her mom would “tie imam-e-zaman on her wrist” and I didn’t understand what that means.
Can someone explain that please?

means that the quality of our intentions affects the blessings (barakah) in our lives.

Here’s a simple explanation:

A sincere intention—doing something for the sake of Allah, to help others, or for an honest purpose—brings peace, contentment, and barakah, even if the result seems small.

A corrupt intention—acting out of pride, greed, showing off, jealousy, or to harm others—may still bring wealth, success, or recognition, but the blessings are diminished. A person may have more, yet feel less satisfied, face constant problems, or lose inner peace.

For example:

Two people donate the same amount. One gives quietly to please Allah; the other gives only to be praised. The action looks the same, but the intention is different, and so is its spiritual value.

Someone starts a business to earn a lawful living and serve people. Another starts only to exploit others. Even if both make money, the first is more likely to experience barakah, while the second may find that wealth brings stress, conflict, or emptiness.

The lesson is that Allah looks not only at what we do, but also at why we do it. Purifying our intentions is one of the foundations of a blessed life.
