Hi
@M0sta
Perform your prayers. wear the perfume. get dressed up. romanticize your own life. chase your goals. learn something new. take care of your body. rest without guilt. laugh more. create beautiful memories. fall in love with your own company. make every ordinary day feel a little special.
@Deejaah
what's something you've stopped chasing...
and became happier because of it?
I'll go first
Looking for love
The day I stopped chasing it, I made more room to fall in love with Allah, myself, and the life He is writing for me.

Here is some painful truth: Given the option, men would rather not marry a woman because all they want is access to your body, essentially. (And your free domestic labour.)
Being with a woman is tough. She has expectations and standards. Quite frankly, if he doesn’t even do those things for himself, why would he have to do it for someone else?
But because marriage is the only halal way for him to have s.e.x on a regular basis, he now has to change his whole life, habits and character just to shut a woman’s mouth! In return, he gets to enjoy pleasure in “peace”.
This is the crux of it all, and women think men love them? Hahaha.
Men love your body. Not you. Period.
And it is okay for women to ask for a lot of money in exchange for s.e.x /marriage, given the circumstances. Don’t feel guilty about it.
And for the men coming after me quoting the Qur’an saying marriage is for tranquillity, mercy and all that…
Fine.
Take s.e.x out of the marriage.
Take the domestic labour she provides out of the marriage.
Will you still continue giving her money, assets and supporting her? Or will you cut the deal and find another woman to satisfy yourself?
Because if you no longer want her when the s.e.x and domestic labour are gone, then what exactly were you ‘genuinely in love’ with in the first place?

From Synapse; Average daily phone checks total one hundred forty-four, each triggering comparison circuits.
Evolved mechanisms for detecting genuine markers of success and physical appeal developed without exposure to artificial curation.
They respond to filtered and edited representations as if authentic.
Ninety percent of individuals between eighteen and thirty apply photo edits before sharing.
Eighty percent of people in young adults have done so by age thirteen.
Research consistently links these encounters to measurable rises in body dissatisfaction and eroded self-esteem through comparisons to idealized versions.
This creates an enduring mismatch between biology optimized for honest social signals and today's engineered digital landscape.

Simple statistics: Why Marriage Apps Have Millions of Profiles, Yet Nobody to Talk To
Do you know the single biggest trap of modern dating services? They create an incredible illusion of infinite choice. It feels so accessible: "Well, look! There are thousands of profiles! If not this one, then the next. The market is huge - my person has to be out there somewhere!"
However, if you turn off the emotions and switch on a dry analytical calculator, the illusion shatters in a matter of minutes. We live in an era where both men and women fall into the exact same cognitive trap: our brains easily evaluate criteria individually ("Are there plenty of good-looking people? Tons! Smart ones? Enough! Faithful ones? Sure!"), but we fail miserably at multiplying probabilities.
We simply don't grasp that every additional "AND" in our requirements divides the remaining pool by 10, or even 100. Let's break down the funnel for both sides with simple math.
Part 1. The Women's Calculator: In Search of "The One"
Imagine a woman with a completely reasonable, mature set of preferences for a male partner (let's take the 30-40 age bracket). No fairy tales - just a profile of a deep, adult individual ready for family life:
Baseline & Demographics. There are roughly 1 billion Muslim men on Earth. The target age group (30-40) represents 200 million. Of those, those who practice their faith sincerely, consciously, and deeply (out of a genuine love for the Sunnah, not just cultural habit) account for maybe 10-12%.
Remaining pool: 22,000,000 people.
Intellect (5%). She needs a systemic, analytical mindset (a deep analytical thinker) with whom she can engage in meaningful, high-level conversations.
Remaining pool: 1,100,000 people.
Character & EQ (5%). The harshest psychological filter. She doesn't just need an intellectual; she needs an empathetic, gentle, and considerate man who offers emotional safety and comfort.
Remaining pool: 55,000 people.
Achievement & Ambition (5%). A man with purpose and scale who can comfortably provide for a family's needs (in the under-40 bracket, a net income starting from $6,000/month belongs to a small percentage).
Remaining pool: 2,750 people.
Appearance & Attraction (1%). Height, good physical shape, grooming, and a 100% visual match for her personal taste.
The Mathematical Knockout: On the entire planet Earth, there are about 28 men who fit this profile.
Now, add the realities of the marriage market: by age 30-40, around 75-80% of them are long and happily married. In net terms, for the entire globe, we are left with a mere 5 to 6 available men (who are either single or genuinely ready for fair polygyny according to the Sunnah).
Part 2. The Men's Calculator: In Search of "The Ideal Wife"
Now let's flip the calculator around. Men aged 25-35 also spend years on dating platforms, complaining that "there are no good women around." Let's break down the standard criteria of a successful young man looking for a woman aged 20-28:
Baseline & Values. There are roughly 150 million Muslim women on Earth aged 20-28. Of those, those who practice sincerely, consciously, and deeply account for about 10-12%.
Remaining pool: ~16,000,000 people.
Appearance & Grooming (1%). Men are highly visual. He looks for natural beauty, a slim silhouette, effortless elegance, and a complete visual match for his taste.
Remaining pool: 160,000 people.
Intellect & Shared Code (5%). She needs to be bright, well-read, and broad-minded - an engaging personality rather than a superficial presence.
Remaining pool: 8,000 people.
Character: Gentleness & Peace (5%). The primary psychological paradox. A man wants a smart woman, yet seeks a gentle, soft-spoken, and peaceful demeanor. A comforting presence free of unnecessary drama or hostility. Combining a sharp mind with genuine gentleness is an exceptionally rare personality blend.
Remaining pool: 400 people.
Maturity & Homemaking (10%). She knows how to cultivate a warm home environment, values family above social media validation, and is psychologically prepared for motherhood.
The Mathematical Knockout: On the entire planet Earth, there are about 40 women who fit this profile.
And just like with men, the most empathetic and exceptional women are sought after early in life. The number of single, available women fitting this description across 8 billion people drops to roughly 15 to 20 worldwide.
The Fundamental Rule: "Top to Top"
This brings us to the central trap both sides fall into.
Men and women spend years searching for mathematically impossible constructs. Men look for a "runway model with the mind of a scholar and the demeanor of an angel," while women search for a "wise millionaire with the tender emotional sensitivity of an empath." Both sides express genuine shock when they keep encountering "the wrong people," blaming the opposite *** instead of simply calculating the funnel.
Yet the primary rule remains absolute: If you are searching for a rare, top-1% profile, be a top profile yourself.
An exceptional man or woman will not choose emotional immaturity, superficiality, or ungrounded entitlement. The standard you demand from a partner must precisely match the standard you uphold within yourself: in your intellect, physical health, emotional maturity, spirituality, and inner peace. You cannot demand an extraordinary human being while bringing ordinary effort to the table.
What Does This Realization Give You?
It grants a profound, liberating sense of peace.
When you look at these numbers, the frantic anxiety, the resentment toward the world, and the pointless hustle melt away. You realize that there is nothing wrong with you, nor is there anything wrong with your standards. It is simply how the physical world is structured - rare things are made in limited quantities.
Meeting your person is not a matter of endlessly swiping through apps or rushing the process. It is ultimately a matter of Divine Will.
Until then, what a blessing it is to simply close the extra tabs, redirect all your energy toward your own growth, brew a good cup of tea, and enjoy your real, peaceful, and beautifully grounded life.
And now, the big question for the audience:
Which of these 5 filters are you ready to scratch off right now just to widen the funnel? Money? Looks? Intellect? Or kindness?
Or are your peace and quiet ultimately worth more than compromise?
