Hope Wears the Ihram Too
Every pilgrim arrives carrying something.
Some carry years of unanswered du'as.
Some carry hearts heavy with regret.
Some carry sins they are too ashamed to name.
Yet they all walk toward the same House.
Not because they believe they are worthy.
But because they believe Allah is.
Perhaps that is the quiet miracle of Hajj.
It gathers people who know they have fallen short...
and teaches them to hope anyway.
Hope in a Lord whose mercy is greater than every mistake.
Hope that a heart can begin again.
Hope that the person who leaves Makkah does not have to be the same person who arrived.
Maybe that is why pilgrims walk with such peace.
Not because they have perfect pasts.
But because they trust the perfect mercy of Allah more than they fear their imperfect past.

Don’t take Salah as burden. ALLAH gifted us Salah as a relief from burden.🤲❤💫

I performed umrah in 2023 and since then my perspective on what a "romantic scene" looks like has changed drastically. It's no longer about candlelight dinner or bouquet of flowers anymore, but a husband gently protecting her wife during tawaf in the middle of a crowd, and a halal couple holding hands when doing sa'i. MasyaAllah may Allah grant me and every singelillah the chance to experience this very soon ❤️
