I am a simple, family-oriented person trying to be a good Muslim. Sometimes, when I see these high-profile accounts and read girls' bios, I feel this app is not for me. Their expectations are so high that I don't even dare to swipe right, thinking maybe she deserves better or I don't stand a chance. 😅
I am not judging or blaming anyone, but look at the demands in some bios: 'Well-settled, well-educated, well-groomed, down-to-earth, loving, funny, mature, practicing Muslim but bold, non-smoker, loves traveling, shopping, etc.' When a sincere and honest guy sees this long list, he steps back because he feels they are from two different worlds. But on the other hand, the guys who just want to waste time and hurt people will easily fake all of this. They sell fake dreams and fantasies to these innocent girls. This is the reality in 90% of cases. Only 10% of people are genuinely looking for a partner to fulfill the Sunnah with mutual understanding.
In the end, I have a request for my brothers: Bro, if you are not serious, please don't waste her time. Don't bully or disrespect girls. Galti kuch log karte hain, par ilzam sab mardoon par aata hai. (A few guys do wrong, but all men get blamed for it
We should not be judgemental in relationships
