If marriage is said to complete half of one's religion, then in your opinion, what position do education, career, knowledge, aspirations, and self-development place a man or woman in in life?

Are all of these also part of the worship and trust that must still be pursued after marriage, so that marriage is not the end of a person's growth, but rather a place where two people support each other in growing together in religion, knowledge, mentality, and future?
