How diff we human beings are, sometimes we feel that everyone is having similar wishes regarding a relationship (respect, peace, joy etc etc) but still we don't match or align on values, mindset/way of thinking. And then that illusion dies many times in this world.
These days, many profiles seem to focus heavily on what is required from a future partner, while very little is mentioned about what the person themselves intends to contribute to the relationship. A successful marriage is built on mutual responsibilities, respect, understanding, and commitment from both sides.
If every person sincerely fulfills their responsibilities, there would be far less need to constantly demand rights, because rights naturally follow when duties are honored.
As for myself, I consider myself a responsible person who understands and values the needs of a life partner. Unfortunately, my previous marriage was affected by issues where continuous demands kept increasing over time. I always tried my best to fulfill expectations, but when I eventually expressed my own needs and expectations, the response was not understanding or cooperation. Instead, it led to conflict and emotional distress.
That experience has made me more cautious about choosing a partner. Therefore, I would appreciate contact only from someone who genuinely wishes to build a marriage based on Islamic values, mutual respect, kindness, loyalty, and understanding—not on endless expectations from one side alone.
I am looking for a partnership where both husband and wife support each other, communicate respectfully, and strive together for a peaceful and meaningful life according to Islamic principles.
