Assalamualaikum everyone,
I just wanted to share a gentle reminder today.
Sometimes being a Muslim in France can feel both beautiful and difficult. We try our best to hold on to our faith, raise our children with good values, manage work, appointments, paperwork, family responsibilities, and all the pressure of daily life.
Many people around us look okay from the outside, but inside they may be tired, stressed, lonely, or silently struggling. Some are going through family problems, divorce, financial worries, difficulties with children, mental health struggles, or simply the pain of feeling alone in a country where life is not always easy.
That is why we should try to be softer with one another. We never truly know what someone is carrying in their heart. A kind word, a smile, a small dua, or simply listening without judging can mean so much to someone.
As Muslims, our religion teaches us mercy, patience, compassion, and brotherhood/sisterhood. We don’t have to be perfect to support each other. Sometimes just being present, being kind, and making dua for someone is enough.
May Allah ease the hearts that are tired, heal those who are hurting, protect our families, guide our children, and give strength to everyone who is trying their best in silence.
May Allah make our difficulties lighter and fill our homes and hearts with peace. Ameen
