A thought that’s been on my mind lately…
I’ve been spending a lot of time building on my own, learning, improving, and growing through different experiences, especially in the entrepreneurship space. And the more I’m in it, the more I realize how much mindset, discipline, and consistency matter.
At the same time, I’ve been reflecting on how marriage is something we often think about, but ultimately it’s part of Allah’s decree. We can make du’a, work on ourselves, and take the means, but it only happens when it’s written. That reminder has made me more grounded and focused on what I can build right now.
I’ve become very comfortable in my own space. I don’t feel drawn to environments or connections that feel empty or without purpose, and because of that I naturally lean more into solitude, work, and self-growth.
So I’m curious..are there other women in the entrepreneurship / self-employment space who relate to this stage of life? And for those further along, how do you maintain balance between building independently and still staying connected in meaningful ways?

Nobody is born to fail. Every person is born with potential, purpose, and the ability to grow. Success may come at different times and through different paths, but your beginning does not determine your destination.
Questions for the Men here. What's stopping you from requesting a prenuptial agreement?
The tax system just feels like daytime robbery. You earn an income- you get taxed 20 to 40% of your income in the UK
You own a car - you pay road tax
You buy fuel ⛽ - you pay tax
You have a house- you pay council tax
You buy food- you pay tax
You watch TV - you pay tax disguised as TV Licence 📺- (you get arrested/imprisoned if you don't pay it.)
I bet if we really calculated the real amount of tax paid, it could possibly amount to over 50% especially if you are in the 40% tax bracket. Imagine someone taking nearly half of your
money 💰 all at once 😲 We don't actually feel this daytime robbery at present because it's done bit by bit 😅.
Those who are deep in the investing game, where did you start? I’m always hesitant
