I've met a few guys at coffee shops with our parents present. We usually talk with our parents at the same table and then they move away for us to talk privately. Then we round up again and say we will feedback to our parents and they'll get in touch with each other regarding next steps.
It's been unsuccessful so far, i haven't passed this 1st meet stage because apparently I scare off all the guys by telling them that I do not want to work. I tell them the truth, that if needed, then idm working only until we have kids.
Now I'm being told to compromise on this - that it's unrealistic in this day and age.
The last guy I met brought up the topic and before I could give him my answer he said he is "open-minded and don't care if the wife wants to or doesn't want to work" so why did he cry to his mum after the meeting saying this is the only thing holding him back...🤦♀️
