Lesley Hazleton is a respected British-American author and historian, known for her book The First Muslim, where she presents the life of Prophet Muhammad in a detailed and thoughtful way.
In this clip, she describes the Prophet as being "exiled" from Mecca. However, to be clear, there was no formal exile. The Prophet migrated during the Hijra due to intense persecution, threats, and a planned attack on his life.
She also described that how the city of Medina was established on the principles of equality and justice.

Most of us are very excellent theoretically. But not everybody Allah grants the ease & awareness to really practice what we know & to embody what we learn.. may Allah guide us every second & everyday.. Laa hawla walaa quwwata illa billah..
Overthinking add on dirt to the heart.. May Allah ease our journey to purify our soul..
Allah might give you authority. But this is only a test. What will you do with authority? Will you use it to oppress people or to improve the standards of life for people. Even when you have authority, don't ever think it's because you are better than anyone else. Your rank is between yourself and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and not to use to impress others or oppress others thinking you are better. Let Allah decide who is better but never abuse authority. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala guide every sincere believer in Him to the true islam. May Allah unite the ummah in our lifetime.
غَيۡرِ (gairi) and وَلَا (wala) are both mean "not"?
Do ghayr and wa-la both mean 'not'?
In Surah Al-Fatiha, the verse says: Ghayri al-maghdubi 'alayhim wa-la al-dallin.
If I am correct that both 'ghayr' and 'wa-la' mean 'not,' why are two different words used if both mean same?
Thanks in advance! Pls if anybody already explained clearly, please do not waste your time. explaining it again.
