My 85 yo icu guy w acute on chronic respi failure w sepsis 2/2 pneumonia and a million other chronic issues died yesterday, Muslim or not, we all inna lillaah, he was extubated day before, told his fam at some point in between his complicated hospital stay that he didn't want to be on life support forever, DNR w comfort care, family in agreement, thank God, he passed about easily as someone in his situation can.

I know we all busy tryna get married and live full rich lives and all that, and may Allaah SWT facilitate ease for us all in our halaal endeavors, but let's also make sure to prepare and maintain a solid nest egg for the aakhirah as well, may our harvests in the hereafter be bountiful and ever increasing, iA.

Idk any of these men. I only joined recently and have been posting on Jamaa for less than a week. Thankfully I never had to interact with any of them. My heart goes out to every woman who has experienced this. This is exactly why women do not feel safe online.

Now it makes sense why some men get so offended and defensive over harassment awareness posts or simply being asked to treat women with kindness. Because harassing women is exactly their hobby.
