The real problem is that we look for things in the wrong places. You see, someone who is at war with themselves can't give you peace. We are looking for loyalty in people who betray themselves. We demand honesty from people who constantly lie to themselves. It's time to see people from face value. When they show you who they are believe them. Who we so wish they could be is not who they are. Sometimes, the kindest thing to is acknowledge their struggles, their growth. Maybe it's about reflecting tha we are in the wrong for asking for someone for something beyond their current capacity.
