It is wild how this whole thing started. Women originally made those "Are We Dating The Same Guy" groups to stay safe, but now guys have made their own private spaces on Discord and Reddit to vent. Honestly, seeing all these recent posts on the platform exposing these men-only groups is pretty scary. A while ago it was the exact same thing but in reverse, with guys posting screenshots of a women-only "Are We Dating The Same Guy" group right here on Muzz Social (back then). Even if these chats start with good intentions, they almost always turn messy.

All the posts we see every day about why the ghosting is happening, why matches and conversations are so dry, or why someone suddenly gets blocked right after their profile gets checked, it all makes sense now. It is all because of this secret back-chatting. Everyone is just talking behind each other's backs, and like the saying goes, we are our own enemies. We all need to reflect and take a deep look at ourselves and what we are participating in. All of this seems so childish and very hurtful, and it is genuinely breaking people. At this rate, nobody is getting married. Men are slandering women, women are slandering men, and the majority of us are getting painted with the same brush, stuck right in the midst of the fire.

This is exactly why back-chatting and slandering are such major sins in Islam. The Prophet (saw) basically taught us that talking behind someone's back about things they wouldn't like is backbiting, and if it isn't even true, it is straight-up slander. Our deen places the highest value on protecting someone's honour and treats it as something completely sacred. When people tear each other down in these groups, they don't realise the deep emotional damage they are causing. It completely ruins lifelong reputations, destroys character, and strips away a person's dignity based on unproven gossip. We are supposed to cover each other's faults, not expose and mock them for entertainment. Astaghfirullah, may Allah (swt) give you hedayat.

In every phase of life, i've realized. What i had was Allah (swt) mercy. What i have is His blessing. And whatever is yet to come will surely hold goodness too. So with a grateful heart, i simply say. Alhamdulillah. 🤲🏼♡.
