I used to cringe at bios that come across all snobby and entitled with a long “don’t message me if…” list.

After being on Jamaa I get it im sorry i misjudged. My Muzz is gonna have disclaimers. Tell me if i missed anything:

No gays / no webbed fingers / no short term holiday marriages / no drug dealers or DevOps engineers / no catfishes / no married men / no ppl with a favourite colour / no haram seekers / no left handers / no multiwives / no Lebanese / no “I need fixing” / no “I can fix her” / no “u r not my type but…” / no ppl who don’t clap when the plane lands / no zesties / no dog haters / no curry tea / no woke / no poshos / no woman no cry.

Something I wrote. If you guys like it great. If you guys don’t like it then great too.

If there existed a tablet in this world that could wash away every worry, silence every doubt, soothe every misery, and mend every wound hidden deep within the heart, still it would never grant the soul true peace.

For peace is not born from medicine alone.
Joy is not found in the hands of this world.
And happiness that is built only upon this life fades like mist at dawn.

Everything here is temporary.

The laughter we hold,
the tears we shed,
the faces we love,
the homes we build,
the wealth we chase,
the fame we desire —
all of it is passing.

One day, without exception, death will arrive.
Quietly.
Certainly.
Infallibly.

No power can refuse it.
No riches can bribe it.
No human being can escape the moment when the soul is called to return.

For this life was never truly ours.

It was a gift.
A trust.
A borrowed breath from Allah.

And every borrowed thing must one day be returned to its Owner.

Yet beyond the veil of death lies a promise so beautiful that the heart trembles to imagine it:
a life without pain,
without fear,
without separation,
without endings.

An eternal life in the presence of Allah (SWT),
where love is complete,
where peace is endless,
and where bliss never dies.

How do we reach such a place?

By being gentle when the world is harsh.
By helping those who are broken.
By loving our family with sincerity.
By remaining calm in the storms of life.
By carrying humility in our hearts.
By remembering that every breath is a mercy from Allah.

So many spend their lives chasing shadows —
fame that fades,
wealth that stays behind,
and praise from people who themselves will one day return to dust.

But the soul was created for something far greater.

It was created to know its Creator.
To love Him.
To remember Him.
To long for the day it meets Him.

Can you imagine that honour?

To stand before the Creator of the universe,
the One who formed the stars,
the planets,
the oceans,
the mountains,
and every living soul.

To meet the One who knew your tears before they fell,
heard your prayers before your lips moved,
and loved you even when the world forgot you.

What peace could compare to that?

Allah does not need our worship.
It is we who need Him.

For in worship the heart is healed.
In remembrance the soul is calmed.
In submission there is freedom.
In Islam there is the cure.

Perhaps the true pill is not something swallowed by the mouth,
but something embraced by the soul.

That cure is Islam —
a mercy from your Lord,
a light in darkness,
a hope in despair,
and a path to eternal love.

It is there for every heart willing to return.

You've met someone who covers off virtually every single requirement and preference you're looking for. Let's call it 99 percent of the things on your theoretical list. The caveat is that you have only have one dealbreaker that you went into the process as a non-negotiable for you and they do trip that dealbreaker.

Deal or No Deal?

Salaam alikum, I hope everyone is well.

On Instagram I saw a wedding in which the groom/ 3arees, bride/ 3aroosa and the belly dancer are dancing together. Out of curiosity, would you book a music venue and belly dancers in your weddings or just a small nikah ?
