If you don’t want to age like milk here are my pro tips:

Fast regularly - intermittent fasting 12-16 hours if you can

Look after your skin - SPF especially

Work out

Wake up for Fajr everyday

Sleep 8 hours

Eat clean - organic foods ( yes no more take away and fried food or ice cream) cut out sugar unless it’s from sources like fruits / honey ( within reason)

Make sure you’re getting all your vitamins and minerals.

Do 200 pull ups

Finding a spouse or even a genuine friendship shouldn't be about looking for someone who is 100% perfect or meets every expectation. Chasing perfection often leads to disappointment because none of us are perfect.
Take your time. Stay calm, even if your goal is marriage. Don't rush to judge people after a few messages. Instead, get to know them through meaningful conversations and understand who they really are.
Try to balance your expectations. For example, someone may not be the most knowledgeable or practicing Muslim yet, but they may be honest, kind, caring, respectful, responsible, and genuinely striving to improve. Those qualities matter too. Look at the whole person rather than focusing on one checklist.
Before becoming emotionally attached or making serious commitments, arrange to meet in a safe public place or have a proper video call. And please, don't lend money to someone you've only met online, no matter how convincing they seem.
Finding the right spouse is a journey, not a race. Be patient, make wise decisions, and trust Allah's timing.
May Allah grant everyone sincere, righteous spouses, successful marriages, and the desires of their hearts 🥰🙏

One thing I've still yet to learn at my big age, is how to take compliments or when people congratulate you.

I'm a person who looks for words and actions to line up. But in those senarios, there isn't actions that line up with the words. Maybe gift giving or something but even still that doesn't feel right.

Hence why I either freeze or just because awkward (or maybe a bit of both)
Plus it puts me in the centre of attention so I naturally hate it.

How does one handle these type of situations?
