Jamaa users, Assalamu Alaikum.
Everyone joins this app hoping to build something meaningful. We all carry our own struggles and life experiences, which is exactly why we should be treating one another with kindness and respect.
Sadly, that's not always what I see here.
Sometimes it feels less like a place where Muslims are sincerely looking for marriage and more like a playground where people attack, argue, and try to tear each other down. Men criticize women, women criticize men, and unnecessary drama seems to be everywhere.
Many people say they're looking for their other half, but their actions tell a completely different story. If you're constantly looking for conflict, seeking attention, or putting others down, are you really here with sincere intentions?
The biggest victims are the people who are genuinely looking for a halal marriage. They often get overlooked because the atmosphere has become so negative. The distance and anonymity of an app make it easier for people to say things they would probably never say face to face.
Some women may disagree with me, but I've noticed that there are women who seek attention and then publicly shame men. At the same time, there are also men who behave just as badly. This isn't about blaming one side it's about acknowledging that the lack of respect goes both ways.
If nobody ever seems good enough for you, maybe it's worth asking yourself whether you're truly ready for a relationship.
Even someone who starts a respectful conversation with sincere intentions can be dismissed without being given a fair chance. Genuine communication seems to be becoming rare.
I could call people out, but that wouldn't improve anything. This kind of desperate and disrespectful behavior doesn't belong on any platform, especially one that presents itself as a Muslim app. Of course, not everyone here practices Islam, but basic respect should never depend on that.
Sometimes the conversations I see are honestly disappointing. As long as Muzz continues to allow this behavior without taking meaningful action, the problem will only grow, and eventually people will stop taking the platform seriously.
May Allah grant us all wisdom, patience, respect, and understanding. Ameen.
i’m just doing the best that i can do for people around me, but i know i can’t make everyone happy or meet everyone’s expectations. so just be yourself and keep fighting for your own path❤️🔥
