🚩This is the shortest story, but the scariest one.
It was a normal day, and I was swiping right and left on Muzz when suddenly—boom.
A profile came onto my screen, and the person looked familiar. After taking a closer look, I recognized him. I had only seen him face-to-face once, but I had seen him mostly in pictures.
The person was my first cousin’s husband.
At first, my mind went blank. Then, I started to dig deep into his profile. The name, age, height, city, and occupation—every detail was accurate except for one thing: "Never Married."
At first, I thought maybe it was an old profile and he had forgotten to deactivate or delete it. Then, I took a closer look at the main screen, and it read: "Active Today."

How is this even possible?????????

I was numb and nervous at the same time. I wanted to block his profile immediately. What if he saw mine? His truth would be out.

What I know about this person:
He married my cousin in late 2023. I heard from relatives that they had been dating for four years before they involved their families. After their engagement, they had a waiting period of two years. So, in total, she has known this person for six years, and now this?
My cousin is highly educated and works as a manager at a top MNC. This man lives in Thailand and runs his own business. He went back there after the marriage. A year later, she joined him, but she came back after just two months for a relative's wedding. Since then, she has been living here with her family while he lives abroad. No one knows the real reason. When someone in the family asked, she claimed it was because her office revoked her work-from-home status.
I remember when I saw his profile, he mentioned his hometown city and stated he was looking for girls from there.

My take on the story:
I don’t know if he is still active or if it was an old profile. Even if it was an old profile, why was he on Muzz in the first place when he was in a six-year relationship? I saw his profile on Muzz in September 2025, which was around two years after their marriage. He has been blocked since then. Maybe he blocked his contacts and everyone he knows on Muzz. But look at the audacity of this person. He is a practicing Muslim, he is married, ya Allah.

Now, I know people will ask why I didn’t tell my cousin, why I didn’t report his profile, or why I am not posting it on Jamaa.
I didn’t tell anyone in the family except my sister. Firstly, I have no proof of the exact current state of his profile. Secondly, I don’t want to break up a marriage. A person who is clever enough to do this in front of everyone can easily make an excuse to fool people. He has clearly fooled her throughout a six-year relationship and a three-year marriage. And, even Allah says not to reveal the sins and faults of others. So, I leave everything in the hands of Allah.
