In Lori Gottlieb’s survey, she found that when men & women were asked ‘If you got 80% of what you wanted in the opposite gender, would you be happy?’ Majority of men said they would be thrilled to find someone that meets up to 80% of everything they wanted in a woman, claiming that is a catch. Majority of women stated that this would be called “settling”.
