I'm a 28-year-old male, Alhamdulillah earning around PKR 180k/month. My family has started looking for a rishta, and I'm only seeking a religious, God-fearing spouse. I want to enjoy a happy, loving married life with my wife and fulfill her rights.
However, I don't want children due to concerns about future financial stability, the state of the world, and because I'm not sure I'd be a good father.
Do you think choosing a childfree marriage for these reasons is selfish or wrong? I'd sincerely appreciate respectful opinions, especially from those with similar experiences.
