We have reached a time where both spouses or parents work full time to make ends meet. Times have changed and in order to have a marriage that can scale and grow in the US you need to be marrying someone putting in as much effort as you. If the man works, so does the woman.

If you plan to marry a man, don't expect there to be vacations every year, big purchases every month, and eating out every night... Not unless you are contributing to earn those perks.
