Assalamualaikum

Genuine question and would love to hear thoughtful opinions.

If a man is financially stable, emotionally responsible, and can treat two wives with complete justice, do you think he should consider second marriage?

Specifically, if his intention is only to give a respectful, secure home to a widow or a divorced woman who may struggle to remarry, is that something the community supports today?

I’m asking because I believe marriage is about responsibility first, not just desire. If someone can provide equally in terms of time, finances, and emotional support, should that be encouraged?

Would love to hear from both brothers and sisters. What are your thoughts? Please share in comments.
