Hey Men never agree to pay High Mahr, just to show off, or if you know, you are going to struggle after agreeing to pay High Mahr. Better you find someone else who is real to spend life with you.
Never get impressed by these so called influencers, motivational speakers and young scholars, who says to you it's women's right to ask for Mahr as they want. No it's not totally their choice. It should be according to the society and specifically person's capability. If he can pay High Mahr easily then definitely it's allowed and Halal. Other wise no place in Islam.
