I will never understand how you can build a connection for months only to ghost a person. I have always been accustomed to having a conversation and politely declining a person. Have you ever ghosted a person? How do you function after? What makes ghosts run?

Seeking a serious relationship requires effort from both sides. I have invested a lot of time on this platform looking for a soulmate, but the lack of communication is discouraging.
It's tough to understand the mindset when profiles don't respond to genuine interest. I believe that responding to a request—even to say no—is important. Without conversation, how can we ever decide if someone is the right match? I’d really appreciate some guidance or perspective from others here.
