Genuinely are there any Bengali men, 35+, who want a wife but doesn't want to nor need to live at home?

I don't expect my husband to do it all, we could buy/rent together but honestly why is it so hard to find guys who are okay with living separately to their family.

It's dawned on me recently that this will be my biggest deal breaker. The thought of it fills me with panic and anxiety. To go from your own home to another home where you are further restricted i.e. practically wearing hijab all day due to non mehram being present (i.e. brothers) and knowing the only "free space" you have is your bedroom is suffoooooocating.

Personally, you couldn’t pay me to live with my parents if I was married. I’m not 35+ though.

I’ve seen a few posts about men not wanting to move out. Is it really that common?

Every guy I know wants their own place, but wedding costs (loans/debt) force them to stay at home until they’re financially stable enough to move out.

I have a couple friends from affluent families who inherited their house. Aside from them, most people I know lived at home until they could afford a place of their own, so it wasn’t really by choice.

Taking care of the parents is part of a son's duty. I don't agree with sharing a home with brothers and their family tho.
