If you only focus on your rights but not your duties, you’re not ready for marriage

If you’re afraid to speak to a potentials wali/fam, you’re not ready for marriage

If you worship your feelings and desires, you’re not ready for marriage

If you attach your worth to beauty, money, material luxuries etc. you’re not ready for marriage

If you don’t understand the true purpose of marriage in Islam, you’re not ready for marriage

If you generalize and disrespect the opposite gender, you’re not ready for marriage

If you lack communication and listening skills, you’re not ready for marriage

If you avoid having serious/uncomfortable conversations, you’re not ready for marriage

If you always assume & see the worse in others , you’re not ready for marriage

If you can’t self reflect, take accountability and/ feedback, you’re not ready for marriage

If you perceive confrontation and direct communication as “arguing” or “picking fights”, you’re not ready for marriage

If you don’t believe in setting boundaries, you’re not ready for marriage

If you think everyone has bad intentions, you’re not ready for marriage

If you don’t have a growth mindset, you’re not ready for marriage

If you need someone to constantly praise you, you’re not ready for marriage

If you trauma dump on people the second you speak to them, you’re not ready for marriage

If you think you’re “always right”, you’re not ready for marriage

If you’re a chronic complainer, you’re not ready for marriage

If you make life decisions solely based off emotions, you’re not ready for marriage

If you sweep problems under the rug for temporary “peace”, you’re not ready for marriage

If you have no plan/vision for your marriage, you’re not ready for marriage

If you think you’re always the “prize”, you’re not ready for marriage

If you constantly compare yourselves to others & seek validation (esp from ur own gender) you’re not ready for marriage
