Ayer, mientras hablábamos, me sorprendí imaginando algo muy sencillo: acercar mi mano y tocarte la cara. Recorrer con la yema de mi pulgar la curva de tu mejilla mientras te miro con una sonrisa y confirmo que existes también fuera de las palabras y de las pantallas, que podría inclinarme despacio y besarte la boca dulcemente. No por pasión ni por urgencia, sino por ternura. Como si ese beso pudiera bendecir todo lo que estamos aprendiendo a contarnos y dar la bienvenida a todo lo que Allah quiera que esté por venir.

Yesterday, while we were talking, I caught myself imagining something very simple: reaching out and touching your face. Tracing the curve of your cheek with my thumb as I look at you with a smile, reminding myself that you exist beyond words and screens, that I could slowly lean in and gently kiss your lips. Not out of passion or urgency, but out of tenderness. As if that kiss could bless everything we're learning to share with each other and welcome all that Allah may have in store for us.
