I am 37 and I believe this is the first time I have posted to this group. One thing about getting older that I was not prepared for is realizing you can’t stop people from making the same mistakes you made.

I have a coworker who is in her early 20s that I’m cool with and we usually do a little "girl talk" at work. A former coworker popped up on my Facebook feed in one of those local mugshot groups, and when I mentioned it, she told me she wants to bail him out.

I said a little warning because she’s genuinely a smart girl, just young. And honestly, before Islam, I probably would’ve done the exact same thing at her age and called it "helping."

But at the end of the day, she’s my coworker, not my responsibility. Sometimes all you can do is say your piece and watch people make their own choices.

And yeah, she hates me now lol gave me attitude all shift but that’s not really the point anymore.

Sometimes you carry things in your heart that no one else sees, quiet worries, unspoken prayers, and feelings you can’t explain….But the almighty knows all of it…He hears what you haven’t even said yet and understands what you’re going through. So don’t lose hope…He is working behind the scenes in ways you can’t see, and at the right time, He will respond in the best way.
