Has anyone heard of Durry? I feel like this band speaks for our generation in a way like no other 😑 https://youtu.be/XmC5H6flDew?is=O6H1VJoQqE0623iD

A lot of people think Muslim men and women can just be friends. 🤔

When I was in university, I understood it more especially with campus activities, organisations, seniors, projects, and situations where interaction was unavoidable. Even then, boundaries still mattered.

But at this stage of life, personally… I don’t believe in close male-female friendships anymore.

People may call it dramatic or excessive, but honestly, how many love stories started with:

“We were just friends.” 😭😅🤏🏻

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai already warned us. 😂

And sooner or later, feelings can appear from one side or both.

What I think people often forget is this:

Have you ever thought about how your future spouse might feel knowing you have a close friendship with someone of the opposite gender?

Maybe nothing “happened.”
Maybe it ended well.
Maybe it ended badly.
Maybe you truly saw each other as friends.

But emotional history still exists.

And sometimes people say, “It’s fine, we’ll deal with it later.” 🫠

Personally, I’d rather build clear boundaries before marriage than expect my future spouse to tolerate something that could easily become uncomfortable later.

Maybe some people think that’s too much.

For me, it’s simply about protecting future peace before problems even begin. 😌🤍

I must be the only one who gets a hard on each time I read the whining of women about men on dating apps. Like cry for me, baby girl.

I like that the app is humbling these women and forcing them to come to the harsh realisation that genuine connection isn't something that's easy to come by, at least, not something that would fall on your laps because you downloaded an app.

If it were easy to come by, you wouldn't need to get on an app in the first place. You got on a dating app precisely because it wasn't and you somehow deluded yourself into thinking that that entitles you to it, it doesn't. As if downloading an app is some easy way out. Pure cope by lazy, entitled lots.

Your soul/deservingness will be tested, again and again. There's no escape for you weaklings.

“It shouldn’t be this hard, so if it’s this hard, then perhaps it’s just not meant for me.”

But why should it be easy, exactly? Why are you so quick to trust that which comes effortlessly and without real effort, but reject that which requires genuine struggle, suffering and sacrifice?

Why is the complexity of struggle less legitimate to you than the convenience of simplicity?

If you want an easy life, then admit you are exhausted, weak and slave-coded - a herd animal - a used up vessel - and accept your place as you retreat into the cave seeking peace as avoidance from real living. But do not act like simplicity is king when simplicity to you just means ease, when simplicity is not having to persevere or calculate or innovate or improvise or adapt - but means simply “whatever comes frictionlessly, must be meant for me”.

"I'm done with Muzz because the men here yada yada yada". Why are you disturbing us? Shut your stinking mouth and quietly retreat into the cave you came out from. We can't be bothered as nobody genuinely cares about your existence. Good riddance.

men, if you were a woman, would u get married to a broke man?
wait, let me put it this way, would you wish to see your mother working to provide or would u like to see her at home with a responsible husband who does what Allah requires of him?

now, do you understand why women have unrealistic standards? 😂😂😂 ofc not all, but the ones who have "unrealistic" standards, have every right to choose what they want. You can't afford, go find a woman u can afford, simple 😂😂😂

Divorced + has children when you’ve never been married before? 🥹🙏🏻

That’s not just marriage, that’s marriage on expert mode. 😭🤏🏻

And why does it feel like there are suddenly so many divorced profiles on Muzz lately? 😭

No judgment at all… I’m just still trying to survive beginner level. 🫠🥹🙏🏻

My morale is so low, I hardly visit the Muzz/Jammaa App. Everything just tire me.

Future husband, when you eventually show face, I will fine you for all of the emotional trauma you have put me through by showing up late🥴🙄😩

I don’t even know if I should just go off the app🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
