A person who loves you will never make you beg for anything.
You won't ever feel like you are the only one making the effort.
They will text you in the middle of the day to make sure you're okay.
They will call you to check on you, even on their busiest days.
They will feel if you're not okay, even if you pretended something else.
They will remember your birthday and every detail you told them.
Don't get attached to people who never make an effort to be a part of your life.
Some people are carrying battles so quietly that even the people closest to them would never notice. Not every struggle is visible, and not every tired soul knows how to ask for help.
May Allah make things lighter for you in ways you never expected. May He ease the thoughts keeping you awake, calm the worries you can not explain, and replace silent exhaustion with peace. Ameen.

As for anyone struggling with this addiction. Think of it as any other addiction. You’re afraid to expose your sins? That’s fine. Don’t isolate yourself or think you’re broken. If shame is your core wound in this challenge.. seek help constantly through prayer and patience. Being on a journey to fight any addiction requires will power and consistency.
keep Allah as your constant and making effort each day even if takes years before you can give up should not derail you from your journey. The stronger your will power against the waswasa of shaytaan the easier it will get to fight it.

Problem with society is that every thing that is an issue has become a “ick” rather recognizing it as a genuine struggle and coming together to remove the stigma around it so that we can work together to end the problems.
Pornography is indeed a bad act that lots of people both men AND women struggle with. It’s not just a male problem.
This isn’t justification of the act nor an excuse to not change. But an understanding that there are forces out there working hard against people to keep them into this sin - hint: media.
Most who are struggling with it fell into this trap at a very young age as a means to escape from a cognitive dissonance life parents created for their kids by prioritizing worldly success and integration of western culture than sticking firmly to their values and beliefs that are part of Islam.
Diluting Islam and making it a personal choice when Islam is the way of life, a religion where one must enter completely and submit to Allah fully is why stuff like, pornography, immodest dressing, seeing hijab as a personal choice rather than a command from Allah, normalization of watching haram movies and tv shows is why most of us are struggling.
It’s the reason why feminism, red pill and LQBGTQ are able to grab our attention and pull us all into different directions hence, breaking our ummah apart.
