Hey Arab ladies.
I'm a 45yo Arab lady, Muslim, non-hijabi and relatively liberal (for Muslims), religious for none-Muslims, living in the void between the two cultures lol.

I've been living in England for a couple of decades now. I had a large group of friends initially but gradually my life became mostly focused on work. I realised recently that my social circle has shrunken significantly over the years.

I tried meetups ..etc to try to meet new frienda, but got sick of going to Muslim events that turn out to be dating events in disguise. It's frustrating that I cannot have a single place where everyone is not obsessed about getting married. I can't be the only one who's only interested in making friends.

I was wondering how many more like me are out there. I would really like to hear from you if you are in a similar situation or even a different one, what are you looking for and how are you working on it?
