O Allah, make me apart of the muhiyaddin,
duas to recite,
memorization of the Noble Quran in Arabic.
It’s to be written all over my heart
Time & time again you’ll hearing it
translation in English this is who I want to be

You Were My Almost

I never asked you to love me,
I only wished you could understand
how much of my heart
was already in your hands.

You were my favorite person,
but I was never your choice.
I had a thousand things to say,
but my silence became my voice.

I watched you smile at others
while hiding my tears inside.
You were the love I couldn’t have,
the feeling I couldn’t hide.

Maybe in another life,
our story would have been right.
But in this one,
I loved you alone—and called it love.

I was raised by a woman who gave everything and asked for nothing in return,

Only to have left me - owing her a life through which I could still never fully repay.

Everyday I meet new people and forget them but
May this nisyan not forget how special you were.

My black eyes don't have visible rings in them but without words, you figured out the hidden paths.
And those clear rings of blue and green in yours showed me a window that you shut for others.
