Am I the Murderer of Your Dreams?

In the solitude of my loneliness,
I often wonder:

Am I the murderer of your dreams?

Before you met me,
your dreams belonged to you—
alive and eternal.

After you met me,
your dreams found their fulfilment,
and in that way,
the dreams of both of us
became ours.

Those dreams
that both our eyes had once seen—
before they could become reality,
they were shattered.

The dreams we shared,
those that had lived, alive and eternal,
within our eyes,
were murdered
at the hands of pride.

Those dreams that once breathed
inside both our eyes
now lie like corpses,
buried beneath our eyelids.

Those dreams
upon which the flowers of love had bloomed—

whose East
was illuminated by the rising sun of peace,

whose West
held the moon of compassion and kinship,
casting its twilight
upon our hearts and our eyes,

whose North
was sheltered beneath the shade of honour,

and whose South
was guarded by a protector
who watched over us both.

Above those dreams
was spread the veil of modesty,

and beneath them
lay invisible wounds—

wounds
buried beneath the eyelids of our eyes.

Above them stretched
the sky of prayer,
from which, every moment,
drops of devotion
fell like rain.

But then…

our dreams became
a battlefield
for the politics of wealth and caste.

And the one who won
was declared worthy of your dreams,

while the one who lost
was called
the murderer of your dreams.

And this is the punishment of the murderer:

that he had only dared
to dream.

While trying to turn those dreams
into reality,
he forgot
that wealth and caste
are the enemies
of those who dream.

Enemies do not stop to see
whether the eyes that dream
belong to a woman,

or whether the eyes that dream
belong to a man.

Enemies know only
how to inflict cruelty and suffering.

Enemies do not know mercy.

They know only
how to wound,
how to oppress,
how to destroy.

What concern is it of the enemy
that a dream
is still a dream?

Whether the dreamer is poor
or a king,

whether they belong
to a privileged caste
or are born into one considered inferior.

But…

they do not know
that dreams can still be dreamed.

That dreams can still
find their fulfilment again.

Even when, to see one another,
we no longer have
each other's eyes before us—

even when
we no longer have
each other's company—

dreams can still be dreamed.

Dreams can still
be fulfilled.

But even if our dreams
do come true,

even if we gather wealth,

even if we collect
all the blessings and treasures
this entire world has to offer,

we will still be unable
to fill that emptiness within us—

that emptiness
which has descended
upon the very existence of us both,

which remains hidden
somewhere deep
inside our souls.

And yet…

we will continue
to dream.

We will gather
all the wealth and blessings
that this world can offer,

so that if, someday,
we meet again
upon some unfamiliar road,

we may look at one another
and feel happiness.

May the sight of one another
not bring restlessness.

And may looking into
each other's eyes
never again
become a source of pain.

He made my tongue freeze like never before.
There is no candle of hope burning yet,
With one gust, will the dream dissipate?

I'm carrying desires made from glass.
I stand still to protect them, but what if I trip and the glass shatters?

My impatience asks me when will the fire start burning in the heart of the flame?

Fictional story:
Its the 3rd year of our marriage. It's a day of winter at 10pm. Me and my wife are sitting on our sofa in the hallroom right in front of our TV watching my favorite driving video from the Alps. I have the remote on my left hand and from the right hand I am slowly petting my wife's head on my chest. And then suddenly I ask her. Tell me my love are you happy with me? Have I given you the life you had wished for? She replies yes my beloved I am happy with you and you have given me a life better than I had wished for. So then I ask her let's thank Allah together for this blessing. We both raise our hands and ask O Allah we are thankful for this blessing you have bestowed upon us. You are indeed the bestower of love and mercy. O Allah keep us together until our death and do not separate us from each other. O Allah make us worship you and obey you the way You love it. O Allah grant us aafiya in this world and akhira. O Allah you indeed test your believers for so when you test us be easy on us. Grant us the strength and endurance to pass your test and always guide us to straight path. We both say ameen and wipe each others face off.
The End.

My Favourite Things

Dewdrops on peonies and glasses of matcha,
Putting on perfume and lip mask from Tatcha,
Ribbons and blouses and shining silver rings,
These are a few of my favourite things.

Classical literature and writing a letter,
The moon and the stars always make me feel better,
Feeling whimsical and sitting on swings,
These are a few of my favourite things.

The warmth of the sun and a glorious mind,
Quiet elegance and a taste so refined,
Thoughts wrapped in giggles and glittering wings,
These are a few of my favourite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad!

“I do not want to find relief from the pain the pain that we both received after being separated from each other. Not because we are responsible for the pain that circumstances have brought upon us, but because I want to live through and carry the pain that belongs to both of us.”

"It’s okay."

Come, rest your head on my shoulder.
Let your tears fall and soak my shirt.

You’re not weak.
You’re not powerless.
You’re simply human.
and sometimes,
this is what we need.

Don’t keep it all bottled up.
The longer you hold it in,
the more it burns inside you.

So cry.
Don’t worry.
You don’t have to hide your tears.

I’m right here,
beside you.

"Before They Stop Waiting"

If you miss someone,
send them your greetings.

Don’t leave them waiting
in the silence of uncertainty.

For longing is a
weight too heavy for one heart to carry alone.
If you still carry their name in your heart,
send them a sign,

before the one who waited for you
learns to live without you,
and your silence becomes
the reason they stop hoping.

Ghazal — You Never Knew

I loved you, but my heart found no peace,
After you, no love could make my sorrow cease.

I remained alone within my own heart,
In your world, I never found a place to start.

You were the one I cherished more than life,
Yet in your heart, I found no place for mine.

I stayed awake at night, lost in your memory,
But fate never granted me your company.

I wished my name would cross your lips one day,
But even that small dream was taken away.

Love taught me how to live through every pain,
But you never waited for me in return again.

Now I find happiness in seeing you smile,
Because the one I loved was never mine, even for a while.
