trust & freedom

" Do not test what you hope to trust. Speak with honesty, ask with courage, and let actions reveal what words can not. For trust is not built through traps or doubt, but through truth, consistency, and the freedom to show who we are without being measured".
_ Unknown quote _

May Allah SWT purify our characters, protect us and take us back to Him in the best of health and eman ameen.

💙 الحمدلله
Astaghfiru'Allah 🤍 📿

He has a tender interior, but to the world he is a harsh exterior.
But his harshness to the rest of the world must be a blessing to his lady luck.
But for now, he goes and robs the peace of many hearts without trying.
Makes melodies in songs extra intoxicating.
He became someone's fresh breath of air.
And then you wonder why his thoughts appear in images of enthusiasm.

Agheeem I have a poem for you all from the bottom of my heart:

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I wish I never met you.

Thank you,

The Stranger I Somehow Know

When all the lights have faded
and darkness fills the room,
that’s when you appear.

Not through the door.
Not beside me.
Not anywhere I could reach out
and actually touch you.

But here.

Somewhere between my thoughts
and my heart.

And I don’t understand it.

How can someone feel so familiar
when I don’t even know their name?

How can I miss a voice
I’ve never heard?

How can I remember a face
I’ve never seen?

How can my heart recognise
someone
my _eyes_have never met?

You are a stranger.

And yet somehow,
you don’t feel like one.

Sometimes I search for you in the moon.

I look up at that same sky
and wonder if somewhere,
you’re looking at it too.

Maybe I feel your smile
in the warmth of the sun.

Maybe I hear your laughter
when the clouds break open
and rain falls against my skin.

Maybe when I walk beside the river
and the breeze wraps itself around me,
for just a second,
I pretend it’s you.

Your warmth.
Your presence.
Your arms around me.

And then reality whispers,

Not yet.

Because your scent,
your touch,
your voice…

I’ve imagined them all.

But I’ve never known them.

And still,
somehow,
my soul has made space for you.

So I wonder…

Do you ever feel it too?

When the world goes quiet
and you’re alone with your thoughts,
does someone you’ve never met
wander into them?

Do you ever stare at the ceiling
and wonder where she is?

Do you ever make du’a
for a woman whose name
you don’t yet know?

Because I pray for you.

I pray Allah protects you
wherever you are.

I pray He keeps your heart safe.

I pray He guides your footsteps,
even the ones that seem to be taking you
in the opposite direction from me.

Because perhaps
they’re not.

Perhaps every road you’ve taken
has been leading you here.

Perhaps every road I’ve taken
has been leading me to you.

Perhaps Allah is closing the distance
in ways neither of us can see.

And that thought…

That thought makes the waiting
a little easier.

Because somewhere beneath these stars
is the one Allah has written for me.

Living.

Breathing.

Laughing.

Praying.

Growing.

Becoming.

And maybe right now
you’re learning lessons
you’ll one day bring into our marriage.

Maybe I am too.

Maybe Allah isn’t keeping us apart.

Maybe He’s preparing us
to meet.

And sometimes I try to picture that moment.

The first time our eyes meet.

Will the world suddenly become quiet?

Will something inside me whisper,

There you are.

Will I recognise you
before I even really know you?

Will I finally understand
why everyone before you
was never meant to stay?

Why certain doors closed.

Why certain prayers were delayed.

Why Allah made me wait.

Maybe I’ve already walked past you.

Maybe you’ve walked past me.

Maybe we’ve stood in the same place,
under the same sky,
two strangers separated
by nothing more than timing.

Because isn’t that strange?

Two people can exist
in the same world
for years…

while Allah keeps their stories
on separate pages.

Until one day,

He turns the page.

And suddenly…

there you are.

No longer the man
I searched for in the moon.

No longer the laughter
I imagined in the rain.

No longer the warmth
I borrowed from the sun.

But real.

Standing in front of me.

And maybe then
I’ll finally understand
why it took so long.

Maybe I’ll look back
at every lonely night,
every unanswered question,
every moment I wondered,

Where are you?

And smile.

Because Allah knew.

He always knew.

He knew where you were
while I was wondering.

He knew your name
while I was imagining your face.

He knew the exact road
that would bring you to me
before either of us
had taken our first step.

So until then…

I’ll pray for you.

Not because I know who you are.

But because Allah does.

I’ll pray that He protects you,
guides you,
blesses you,
and brings you closer to Him
before He ever brings you closer to me.

And when the lights have faded
and darkness fills the room,

maybe I’ll still close my eyes
and imagine you.

The stranger
I somehow know.

The soul
I somehow miss.

The name
Allah has written
somewhere beyond what I can see.

And until the distance disappears,
until the waiting ends,
until two separate roads
finally become one…

the yearning will remain.

But so will the trust.

Because I don’t need to know
where you are.

I don’t need to know
when you’re coming.

I only need to know
Who is writing the story.

And if Allah has written
our paths to cross,

then no distance can prevent it,
no delay can erase it,
and no wrong turn
can steal what was always meant
to find its way to me.

So until we meet…

I’ll leave your name
where it has always been safest.

With Allah.

What if it works out, what if everything goes right, what if things turn out better than you can ever imagine, what if you end up happier, what if it ends up being the best thing you've ever done, you'll never know unless you try. A million what ifs but don't forget to consider everything that could go right not just what could go wrong 🩷.
