I hope you heal from the things you never talk about. The nights you cried in silence, the moments you questioned your worth, the pain you carried while still showing up for everyone else. I hope one day your heart feels safe again, and you finally understand that you deserved love all along.

The Guest We Keep Letting Leave
Every Ramadan, we welcome the same Guest.
We clear our schedules.
We soften our voices.
We return to the Qur'an as though we have finally remembered the language our hearts were created to speak.
Our prayers become longer.
Our du'as become quieter.
Even our tears seem to know the way back.
Then the crescent changes.
Ramadan leaves.
And somehow...
so do we.
Strange, isn't it?
For thirty days, we prove to ourselves that we can lower our gaze, guard our tongues, wake before dawn, forgive a little easier, and leave even what is halal for the sake of Allah.
Then Ramadan departs, and we begin living as though those thirty days never happened.
Who convinced us that those virtues belonged to Ramadan?
They always belonged to Allah.
Ramadan was never meant to become our destination.
It came only to point us toward the One who never leaves.
Perhaps the greatest gift Ramadan gives us is not a month of worship.
Perhaps it is a glimpse of the person we could become if we kept choosing Allah after the moon had gone.
So maybe the saddest part is not that Ramadan leaves.
Guests are meant to leave.
The sadness begins when we escort Ramadan to the door...
and accidentally walk away from Allah with it.
The next time Ramadan knocks, may it not find strangers opening the door.
May it find hearts that never truly said goodbye.

May Allah guide everyone.

Never trust a man that changes his behaviour when women are around

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Shall I not inform you of the greatest of the major sins?”

They said:

“Yes, O Messenger of Allah.”

He said:

“Associating partners with Allah and being undutiful to one’s parents.”

He was reclining, then he sat up and said:

“And false speech and false testimony.”

He continued repeating it until we wished he would stop.
