What's a bigger red flag before marriage: someone who gets angry easily or someone who never admits they're wrong?
@Mrfarhanshahzad
I don't just want the exciting parts of being with a woman. The flirting, the dates, the vacations, the chemistry. I want the random Tuesday nights too. Cooking something together, laughing about something stupid, hearing about her day, making plans we'll probably change three times. Anybody can enjoy the highlights. I want to genuinely enjoy doing life with someone.
@Mrfarhanshahzad
Stop explaining yourself to people who refuse to understand. Protect your peace, do your part, and trust Allah with the rest.

ARE WE READY FOR THE MALHAMA, OR JUST TALKING ABOUT IT?
What if Imam Mahdi appears in our lifetime and the Great Battle (Al-Malhama) becomes a reality?
What will we do? Have we ever honestly asked ourselves this question?
We talk about Imam Mahdi, Dajjal, Palestine, Syria, and the future of this Ummah. But how much have we changed ourselves?
Our hearts are deeply attached to this Dunya.
We struggle to live a simple life. We cannot imagine living without air conditioning and our daily comforts. Our demands keep increasing, yet our patience keeps shrinking. We want the rewards of sacrifice without giving up our luxuries.
We cannot even tolerate a disagreement without trolling, humiliating, or bullying another Muslim. We struggle to speak the truth, let alone stand beside it when it costs us friendships, popularity, or acceptance.
And yet, we imagine ourselves standing firm during the greatest trials.
What makes us think we will suddenly become different when the time comes?
The Prophet ﷺ foretold a great battle between the Muslims and the Romans.
The Prophet ﷺ described the Romans landing at Al-A'maq or Dabiq and an army coming from Madinah to confront them.
Sahih Muslim 2897
This is not a subject for entertainment, sensational predictions, or empty online debates. These are matters of the unseen that deserve knowledge, seriousness, and humility before Allah.
We discuss the suffering of Muslims from the comfort of our homes, but how often do we work on changing ourselves? We rely on media narratives instead of seeking reliable knowledge, and we sometimes label people without understanding the facts. Islam demands evidence, justice, and discernment-not blind loyalty to any side.
➡ Are we performing all five daily prayers?
➡ Are we earning our living through Halal means?
➡ Are we being honest, or are we lying?
➡ Are we deceiving or cheating others?
➡ Are we fulfilling our parents’ rights and responsibilities?
➡ Is our neighbour suffering because of our behaviour?
➡ Are we consuming Riba (interest)?
➡ Are we keeping our beards in accordance with the Sunnah?
➡ Are the women and girls in our families observing Shariah-compliant Hijab and Pardah?
➡ Can we control our anger?
➡ Lower our gaze?
➡ Give up our sins? Stand for the truth when it costs us something?
➡ Are we mentally and physically prepared for Jehad?
➡ Sacrifice our comfort for Allah's sake?
When Imam Mahdi appears, the focus will be Jehad, sacrifice, struggle, and standing for the truth - not indulging in worldly luxuries.
We do not know whether we will witness these events in our lifetime. But we know that death can come at any moment.
The real tragedy would be spending our entire lives talking about the victory of Islam while never allowing Islam to conquer our own egos.
THE QUESTION ISN’T WHETHER WE WILL WITNESS THE MALHAMA. IT’S WHETHER WE ARE READY.
May Allah grant us sincere faith, courage, steadfastness, and the strength to remain firm upon His Deen during trials. Ameen.

I actually reconnected with someone on Muzz in early 2025. He lives in the UK specifically in Brighton and Hove. He isn't European, he's Asian. There is a 10-year age gap between us. He video calls me quite often, usually before heading to work or after getting home. As for his salary, it averages around £36,000–£40,000 there. However, I’m still apprehensive about the idea of marrying him and moving to the UK, given that life in Indonesia is actually quite comfortable despite the many issues with the government. His profile looks decent enough. There are truly so many considerations and risks to weigh regarding the future.
