I'm 48, UK based, and looking for a halal rizq, husband. My preference is to meet someone already based in the UK, as I'm looking for a straightforward path to marriage rather than navigating long distance relationships or visa processes.
Age isn't everything, but I'm generally looking for someone in a similar stage of life and closer to my age.

Today was heck of a day. But it ended up pretty well alhumdulillah. Started off with nervous break down. Then Masjid. Then home. Then workout which felt amazing. Allah huma barik. Life ia beautiful. So dont let anyone dull it for you. Be beautiful. Be you. You are enough. You are amazing. Keep showing up for yourself. Push through. It will all be worth it ladies and gentlemen!

Asalam alai kum
I was asked today that as a older muslimah what was I bringing to a marriage islamically, if I was not going to have children and it got me thinking?
And my response was the following:
I offer loyalty, sincerity, and a heart that values kindness. I believe in showing love through both words and actions being affectionate, supportive, and present through life's highs and lows because I know life is not always full of 🌞 sunshine and flowers 💐. I want my future husband to know he has someone in his corner who believes in him, makes dua for him, encourages him in his deen, and stands beside him with patience and compassion. I want to recite 5x salah with him, read tasbeeh on his hands ✋️ so we both gain the reward. Allah swt says that when a husband and wife look at each other with love, Allah swt looks at them with mercy.
I want to travel the world with him observing history both western and islamic and strive to be better with our actions and we will make it to jannah insha Allah.
I'm not materialistic but I do take alot of pictures and I insist on making memories.
The point of this post is that as older 😳 men and women its like we are constantly being asked to validate ourselves and the thought of getting married is now a after thought where if it happens it happens if it doesn't then it doesn't.
Alham du lillah I am content but it would be nice to have a companion that Allah swt would have written for me without me constantly being questioned
