After divorce, people often say a man needs years to rebuild his life, and I respect that healing takes time.
But when a woman rebuilds her life, why do some people assume she must have walked away with money?

Not every woman's story is the same.

Some of us worked every day. Some of us fought long legal battles. Some of us fought for custody of our children. Some of us faced court for years while still trying to provide, heal, and keep going.
I didn't rebuild my life because someone handed it to me. I rebuilt it through hard work, patience, perseverance, and by the mercy of Allah.
Alhamdulillah, I stood back up. I became stable on my own before ever thinking about leaning on someone else.
Before judging someone's success after divorce, remember that you rarely know the battles they fought in silence.

May Allah continue to grant strength to everyone rebuilding their lives after hardship. Ameen.
