I had a nice short vacation near the beach last weekend. Also, I was recovering from tonsil inflammation. Everything was good Saturday morning, I even looked healthy, as you can see in the selfie.
But at night before sleep, my tonsils flared up, I coughed a lot, and I suddenly had a high fever. It was a very high temperature that would not cool down even after taking paracetamol. I had a similar fever a few days ago. In my life, I have never had a recurring high fever within a span of a few days
Luckily, my sister had a cooling fever patch, which helped a bit. In the morning, I slowly felt better. Today I am all good, just still coughing and have a slight sore throat.
It just reminds me how fragile humans are. One minute we are all good and having fun at the beach, and suddenly at night, we have a high fever.
