“Who is it that will lend Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over?” (Qur’an 57:11)
Allah is not in need of our wealth. Everything in the heavens and the earth already belongs to Him (2:284). The “goodly loan” is an invitation to prove what truly owns our hearts.
What are we willing to place in Allah’s hands?
Our wealth. Our time. Our abilities. Our comfort. Our pride. Our ego. Our desires.
The Qur’an teaches that true righteousness is not merely belief or words, but giving from what we love:
“You will never attain righteousness until you spend from that which you love.” (3:92)
The greatest sacrifice is often not money it is surrendering the self that competes with obedience to Allah.
Allah warns:
“Have you seen the one who has taken his own desires as his god?” (45:23)
Every time we choose Allah over our ego, patience over anger, generosity over greed, truth over convenience, and obedience over desire, we are giving Him a “goodly loan.”
Allah reminds us:
“Say, ‘Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.’” (6:162)
And He promises that nothing sincerely given for His sake is ever lost:
“Whatever you spend in the cause of Allah, He will replace it, and He is the Best of providers.” (34:39)
The worldly life teaches us to hold tightly. The Qur’an teaches us to let go for Allah.
“As for the one who gave, was mindful of Allah, and affirmed the best, We will ease him toward ease.” (92:5–7)
The question of 57:11 is not whether Allah needs a loan. He does not.
The question is whether we trust Him enough to place everything we love back into His care, believing that what He returns is always greater than what we surrendered.

No matter what the problem is, believe that Allah can handle it to the last drop. Sometimes we battle within and that's normal. But remember Allah has the final say. Something miraculous happened to me at work today and am here telling you this. Believe Allah can handle it. Pray in your head all the time !!!!!
