About me: I am a 26-year-old black Muslimah, Zimbabwean-born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, since the age of 10. I am a revert to Islam and the only Muslim in my family. I work in software development and hold an Honours degree in Engineering.

I am naturally introverted - quiet at first, but once I feel safe and comfortable with someone I talk a lot and laugh even more. I am deeply empathetic, emotionally mature and someone who thinks and feels deeply. I care about people genuinely and I show up fully for those I love.

My hobbies and interests include reading, creative writing, watching anime, Korean dramas and educational documentaries on everything from African history to conspiracy theories and cultural practices around the world. I attend Islamic lectures whenever I can and I volunteer with revert organisations as a way of giving back to a community that means a great deal to me.

In terms of future plans - I am working on my own side business as I want to own my time, build something meaningful and be a truly present wife and mother rather than someone constantly stretched thin by corporate demands. I attend tajweed classes so that I can improve my recitation and I have a long term goal of becoming an 'Aalimah.

I dream of a home that is peaceful, Allah-centred and full of love, mercy and the sound of Quran. I am someone who has done real inner work and I enter this process with a sincere heart, clear intentions and a genuine readiness to build something beautiful - for the sake of Allah and with the right person by my side.
