This is a question to the women. Is it off-putting and too forward to receive a compliment from men on this app or do you consider it flattering?

The compliments I’ve sent to the women I find compatible/attractive have been very respectful and tame but I’ve had little to no success getting a match with compliments and almost always get dismissed. I’ve been on the app for almost a year now and I’m probably like 2/35 on compliments sent that were actually accepted. I understand it could be a number of factors like my looks, location, ethnicity, age, job, etc. that cause girls to dismiss but I just want to understand if most women like the compliment feature or not.

I want to choose a life partner who regularly performs Salah (prayer), follows Allah’s commands, and lives according to the teachings of Islam.

I have stopped asking people to understand me. Allah knows what I carry, even when my lips remain silent.” 🤲🏻

Ladies, let's settle this once and for all 😂❤️

Would you rather marry a man who:
A. Makes you laugh every single day 😂
B. Understands you without you explaining everything 🥹
C. Supports your dreams and your deen 🤍
D. Gives you all three, because why should we settle? 😂💍

Girls, I'm reading the comments 👀👇

I want you to really sit with yourself and ask yourself these questions… 💣

How self-aware are you when it comes to empathy? Do you truly understand what empathy means, or do you confuse it with sympathy?

Can you empathize with someone whose experiences are completely different from yours? Can you listen to someone’s pain without comparing it to your own or making them feel like their feelings are invalid?

When someone tells you that you’ve hurt them, is your first instinct to understand why, or to defend yourself?

Do you believe that having good intentions means you cannot hurt someone?

Can you acknowledge someone’s feelings even when you disagree with their perspective?

And most importantly, do you actually practise empathy, or do you only show it when it’s convenient for you?

These are questions worth sitting with. Because self-awareness begins when we’re willing to look at ourselves honestly, even when the answers are uncomfortable.
