A question for the men of Muzz, specifically the ones I’ve had the questionable luck of encountering 😂

Has anyone else noticed how quickly some people can go from “I’m looking for something serious” to either:

• -disappearing after a couple of months of dating, with absolutely no explanation;

and/or

• -expecting the physical side of a relationship to progress at a pace that doesn’t match the emotional connection that’s actually been built?

I’m very aware this isn’t every man on Muzz. I’m talking about a very specific pattern I’ve personally experienced more than once, and honestly, I’m trying to understand it.

If you’ve been talking, dating, calling, getting to know each other for months, why ghost instead of simply saying you’re no longer interested?

And if someone tells you they want to take physical intimacy slowly because they’re looking for a serious relationship, why is that treated like an obstacle rather than a boundary to respect?

I’m not expecting someone to know after two dates that I’m their future wife. I am expecting honesty, consistency, respect, transparency and basic communication while we figure that out.

Maybe I’m asking for too much. Or maybe modern dating has just convinced us that disappearing is easier than having one mildly uncomfortable conversation 😒

Curious to hear from both men and women, have you experienced this, and why do you think it happens?

It's my third week in Melbourne, do you any must visit spots around the city?

Hi guys and salaam. It’s taken a lot of courage to come on here and really ask for this in this way and so I’m hoping that I don’t get a lot of backlash for this. My situation has currently really taken a turn for the worse and it wasn’t something that I thought would have happened to me but unfortunately it has. My ego is at an all time low and of the few friends they could not lend me a hand. I know everyone is struggling and money is tight but I have a job lined up in the new year so inshallah I’d be happy to pay people back with my id and documents signed saying that I will. Unfortunately I am 1500 dollars short of money at the moment so was requesting if a few people would be more than happy to assist. Like I said I’m very honest person and really Make it my goal to keep my promises so rest assured I will be paying the money back. If there are a few or maybe a group of people that are willing to contribute money together I.e 3 people paying 500 each I would gladly like to honor that faith as well. I know my post is anonymous but rest assured that once we meet up we will be familiar with each other. Jazakallah hair
