I honestly wonder why so many men on this app don’t have stable jobs or a stable source of income. Of course, I have come across a few who do, but honestly, they seem to be very few.

What I find even more strange is that when two people are getting to know each other, the man often expects the woman to be the one who travels to meet him. Sometimes it’s from one country to another, and sometimes even within the same country—but somehow, the expectation is still that the woman should make the journey.

Do they think travelling is free? 😏

I really don’t understand the logic behind it. A man says he wants to marry a woman. He says he has fallen in love with her. He says he is serious about her. And then… somehow, she is the one expected to buy the ticket, travel to his country, and go to meet him.

Why?

Why can’t the man make the effort and travel to meet the woman instead?

I find this extremely strange. Words like “I want to marry you” or “I’m in love with you” mean very little to me if there is no action behind them.

And I’m sorry to say this, but personally, a man like that will never have a place in my heart—no matter how handsome he is, and no matter how good or impressive his job may be.

I believe that when a man is genuinely serious about a woman, he should show it through his actions, not simply expect the woman to do all the travelling and make all the effort.

Love is not just words. Serious intentions require effort, responsibility and action.

Two people can have chemistry, attraction, and love. What is the one thing that can still make you walk away?

I don’t want a love that needs constant reassurance. I want something so genuine that both hearts simply know.”

Assalam Walekum,

I'm still new to Muzz and I wanted to get your input.

What are common mistakes you see that turns someone away on Muzz. Not obvious ones please like rudeness, inappropriate language, demanding pictures etc.

Would you rather marry someone who loves you deeply but doesn’t truly understand you, or someone who understands you deeply but takes longer to fall in love with you?

In marriage, is love enough, or do we need compatibility, communication, emotional maturity, shared values, and the ability to handle difficult seasons together?

Sometimes we choose people based on how strongly they make us feel, only to discover later that strong feelings don’t always mean a strong foundation.

So I want to ask the Muzz community:

What do you believe is more important for a lasting marriage: being deeply loved, deeply understood, or being genuinely compatible—and why?

I’d love to hear your honest perspective. 👇🏽
