In today’s generation, who has it harder when it comes to marriage: men or women?

Some people believe men face more pressure because they are expected to provide financially, take responsibility, and lead the family, even when they are struggling themselves.

Others believe women face more pressure because they are expected to be beautiful, loyal, patient, caring, and supportive, while sometimes sacrificing their own happiness.

But here is the real question: Are we expecting too much from each other, or have we forgotten what marriage is truly supposed to be about?

Men, what do you think women misunderstand about your struggles?

Women, what do you think men fail to understand about yours?

And most importantly, in an Islamic marriage, should a couple focus more on what each person must bring to the table or on how they can grow together through life’s challenges?

Don't ask for a partner who understands religion, but ask for a partner who understands religion and practices it. And the most important thing is his morals. Because many men understand religion but don't practice it and have bad morals.
