Assalamualaikum sisters 🤍 Just a heads-up to be cautious if you match with ASIM, a Sudanese, a resident doctor in Dearborn, Detroit, on this app.
We were married, and our divorce is still ongoing, yet he is apparently on here claiming he has never been married. When things ended, I received threatening emails, and money was requested from my family. He also avoided communication when we were preparing for me to relocate and start our married life.
He may come across as kind, generous and sincere at first, but please take your time, verify everything and pay attention to how someone behaves when things don’t go their way. Gifts, money and sweet words aren’t enough to establish someone’s character.
My parents had concerns from the beginning, but I wanted to believe the best. I’ve had to rebuild my life since. I’m sharing this so other sisters can be careful and do their due diligence. Please protect yourselves. 🤍
