The investigation found that when they could not perform the illegal abortions, they lured Pearl to an isolated place where they killed her. They were immediately caught, and they were sentenced to death by hanging in 1896.

This is a very tragically dark tale of a 22-year-old girl who just wanted to be loved, but the person she fell in love with would be the person who ended her life.
